On it's 5th year, the Interpretive Show is the signature show for JN Long Cultural Arts Complex the Interpretive Preparation begins in April when the Cleburne Camera Club chooses photographs from its members to submit to the Johnson County Art Guild. The art guild members then choose photographs that inspire them to 'interpret' the photo. Interpretations may be in any medium and can be literal or highly interpretive. This year a member of the Texas Woodcarvers Guild joins the fun and is carving a piece inspired by one of the photos. A unique aspect of this exhibit is the inclusion of poetry and prose written by the creative Writers and Poets of Johnson County.
This year there were 39 photos submitted with 36 being interpreted artistically or having inspired a writer to put pen to paper. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy this exhibit and experience the beauty of inspiration.
